India beat New Zealand in the first warm-up match by 45 runs

India have defeated New Zealand in the first warm-up match by 45 runs (DLS method). Chasing the target of 190 runs, India lost Rahane cheaply in the first 10 overs but after that Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli handled the team really well. Batting at a score of 40 runs, Dhawan played a loose shot and got out but skipper Kohli yet again scored a fifty and stayed not out.
